BALTIMORE, MD (September 13, 2017) — Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corp. plans to consolidate three existing career center locations into a single facility at the BWI Technology Park in Linthicum Heights.
The development corporation, a nonprofit that assists unemployed and under-employed Anne Arundel County residents, has signed a full building lease for a 23,360-square-foot space at 613 Global Way.
“Several factors drove this real estate decision, led by the desire to achieve significant operational efficiencies through shared workspaces and combining all of our initiatives and partners under one roof. This consolidation is designed to make it easier for businesses and residents to access services from all Career Center partners while providing the additional space needed for our expanding services,” Kirkland J. Murray, President and CEO of Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation said in a statement.
BWI Technology Park consists of 14 buildings with nearly 600,000 square feet of commercial and and flex research and development space off Route 295 in the BWI Business District.
