BALTIMORE, MD (September 9, 2021) – St. John Properties, Inc., a Baltimore-based full-service commercial real estate development and investment company, has promoted Lori Rice to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Rice has been with St. John Properties since 2000 and was formerly Chief Financial Officer.

Rice will be responsible for the development and execution of financial strategies, planning and forecasting initiatives designed to maintain fiscal stability and long-term growth. This includes identifying emerging economic trends with potential impact on the organization and supervising the in-house accounting and finance teams. Rice will also engage with internal teams to update financial systems, and work to establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investment partners and related stakeholders.

Rice has nearly 25 years of financial and commercial real estate experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland. Rice serves on the Board of Trustees for the Edward St. John foundation as Treasurer, and is a member of NAIOP Maryland, the state-wide commercial real estate development organization.
