St. John Properties, Inc. Promotes Tom Nelson To Assistant Vice President, Interior Construction

BALTIMORE (October 15, 2014) – St. John Properties, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate development and management company headquartered in Baltimore, has promoted Tom Nelson to Assistant Vice President, Interior Construction. Mr. Nelson has worked for the company since 2009.

Mr. Nelson, who was previously Director, Interior Construction, will continue his responsibilities in overseeing day-to-day functions of the company’s Interior Construction department. His role includes directing project managers and subcontractors in all tenant build-out activities, overseeing jurisdictional permit expediting for each project and coordinating tenant construction with the Leasing and Interior Design departments. He is also responsible for establishing and maintaining budgets that satisfy project scopes for each assignment.

Mr. Nelson recently coordinated the establishment of the “SJP Client Care” program, which provides existing tenants with a single source service for all of their desired space improvements. To date, Mr. Nelson’s team has completed over 102 unique client projects under this program.

Mr. Nelson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture with a concentration in Urban Studies and City Planning from Columbia University in New York City. He resides in Baltimore County.
