BALTIMORE (January 23, 2018) – St. John Properties, Inc., a Baltimore-based real estate development, investment and management company, has promoted Cynthia (Cindy) Thayer to the position of Controller. Formerly Assistant Controller, Ms. Thayer has worked for the company since 2009.

In her new role, Ms. Thayer will be responsible for the oversight of the accounting division. This includes creating and monitoring budgets, financial reporting, cash management and assisting other departments with financial requirements.

Ms. Thayer brings more than 27 years of business and financial experience to the position. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.
