FREDERICK, MD – St. John Properties, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate development and management company that has developed over 24 million square feet across 12 states, has hired Graciela Martinez as Project Manager, Interior Construction in the company’s Virginia and Central Maryland Regional Office. Formerly Assistant Project Manager, DAVIS Construction, she brings nine years of construction project management experience to this new role.

Martinez will assume the management of tenant build-out projects situated throughout St. John Properties’ portfolio of business communities across the Northern Virginia and Central Maryland region. Her responsibilities will encompass overseeing on-site construction activities, acting as the primary liaison with third-party subcontracting firms, interacting with tenants throughout the tenant build-out process and seeing projects to completion. Martinez will interface with St. John Properties’ internal Leasing and Interior Design teams to ensure timely and on-budget deliveries, while adhering to all safety protocols.

During her five-year tenure with DAVIS Construction, Martinez managed multi-million-dollar ground-up commercial projects for the general contracting company. She also worked as an Assistant Project Manager for Island Exterior Fabricators in New York City, and a Design Associate for CARNEMARK design + build.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland, College Park.
