Annapolis, MD (September 25, 2014) — The Sofa Store/Big Screen Store has opened a 35,000-square-foot location in Glen Burnie.
The combination store is similar to one in Baltimore County, where The Big Screen Store moved to the second floor of The Sofa Store in Towson. All other Big Screen Stores – 11 in Maryland and Virginia – have independent storefronts.
Located off of I-97 within the Cromwell Business Park, the owners plan to hire 20 employees. The Sofa Store sells sofas, loveseats, chairs, sleepers and recliners whle The Big Screen Store offers home entertainment options for basements, dens and home theaters, officials said.
“This new location will offer a more convenient option for those living in Annapolis or closer to the Washington, D.C. area,” Kevin Luskin, who owns the stores with Cary Luskin, said in a statement. “The combination concept provides customers with the ability to shop and plan for a redesign or upgrade of their living room, great room, den or basement all in one spot.”
