60-Member St. John Properties Polar Bear Plunge Team Raises more Than $11,000
Baltimore-based real estate development company has raised nearly $60,000 over past four years
BALTIMORE, MD (February 11, 2019) – The St. John Properties, Inc. Polar Bear Plunge team, consisting of nearly 60 employees, family members and friends of the Baltimore-based real estate development company, raised more than $11,000 for the 2019 Maryland State Police (MSP) Polar Bear Plunge benefitting Special Olympics Maryland. St. John Properties has sponsored and participated in this annual fundraising event for the past four years, in which the company has cumulatively raised approximately $60,000.
This year’s St. John Properties team, which consisted of 33 employees, participated in the 23rdannual MSP Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park, in Chesapeake Bay water that was estimated to be only 45 degrees. Approximately 10,000 people took part in the event which supports nearly 8,000 Special Olympics athletes that compete in Maryland annually.
