White Marsh, MD (January 21, 2015) — Logistics company Pro Transport Inc. has signed a 51,100-square-foot lease at St. John Properties Inc.’s Baltimore Crossroads project.

The deal is an expansion for Pro Transport, which plans to relocate from another building in Baltimore Crossroads located at 11600 Crossroads Circle.

The space Pro Transport is leasing will mostly be used as warehouse, and is located at 11630 Crossroads Circle. The company will lease the entire building, which features 16-foot ceiling heights and drive-in loading capabilities.

“This new building fulfills every real estate requirement of Pro Transport, which needed additional space to accommodate the continued growth of their company,” Matt Lenihan, a broker for St. John, said in a statement. “Pro Transport’s No. 1 priority in its building search was to remain within Baltimore Crossroads, which provides easy access to the company’s key clients, given its immediate proximity to Interstate 95 and Route 43.”

The 1,200-acre mixed-use project has become a major focus for St. John as it tries to turn the area near White Marsh into a business community similar to Howard County’s Maple Lawn. In late 2013, the company reached an agreement with McLean, Va.-based Elm Street Development to build 2,000 homes on land at Baltimore Crossroads.
