Edward St. John Awarded Glenn L. Martin Medal

The prestigious award honors individuals who have made a contribution to the mission and ideals of the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering.

St. John Properties’ Founder & Chairman Edward St. John was awarded a 2025 Glenn L. Martin Medal. The award was presented at the A. James Clark School of Engineering Celebration of Leadership, Philanthropy and Service Annual Recognition Dinner this fall. Established in 2014, the award and honors Clark School of Engineering alumni or friends who have contributed truly exceptional service to their community, enhanced the student experience, made distinguished contributions to the theory and practice of engineering, or managed or directed an organization that has made noteworthy national or international contributions to the field of engineering.

Fellow Glenn L. Martin Medal award recipients included James L. Cantor, Ph.D., an executive consultant and board member, and University of Maryland alumni Patrick and Marguerite Sung.
