Team St. John Properties Participates at 2018 Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge Benefitting Special Olympics Maryland

Three-year fundraising total achieved by Baltimore-based real estate development company approaches $50,000

The 2018 SJP Plunge Team was comprised of 60 employees, families and friends of St. John Properties.

BALTIMORE (February 2, 2018) The St. John Properties, Inc. Polar Bear Plunge team, comprised of 60 employees, families and friends of the Baltimore-based real estate development, investment and management company, raised more than $16,000 in donations for the 2018 Maryland State Police (MSP) Polar Bear Plunge benefitting Special Olympics Maryland. St. John Properties has been a sponsor of the MSP Polar Bear Plunge since 2015, and the amount raised during this year’s campaign brings the company’s three-year fundraising total to nearly $50,000.

Of the total participants, 37 were full-time employees of St. John Properties, with the group also joined by Michael Greenebaum of Greenebaum Enterprises. The team took part in the Pee Wee and Family Plunge on Saturday, January 27th, joining more than 4,700 participants at the 22nd annual event.

“We jumped into this extremely worthwhile effort three years ago with enthusiasm, passion and both feet,” explained Edward St. John, Founder and Chairman of St. John Properties. “This has grown into a valuable team-building experience for the entire company while benefitting a tremendous cause. We are proud to support the 7,549 athletes of the Special Olympics Maryland. It was especially gratifying to be joined this year by our partner, Greenebaum Enterprises, with support from the Greenebaum Family Foundation.”
