St. John Properties Utah Promotes Three Professionals to Director Positions in Response to Continued Growth

Employees to lead day-to-day responsibilities of Tenant Improvements, Property Management and Interior Design divisions of full-service commercial real estate company

PLEASANT GROVE, UT (February 3, 2022) — St. John Properties, a full-service commercial real estate development and investment company which has developed more than 1.5 million square feet of commercial real estate throughout the state of Utah, has announced the promotion of three professionals to Director positions. Dustin Lynch has been promoted to Director of Tenant Improvements; Dayne Nelson has been elevated to Director of Property Management; and Jenessa Young is now Director of Interior Design.

“Each of these professionals have played a significant role in the continued growth of the company and the delivery of best-in-class commercial real estate services to our clients,” explained Daniel Thomas, Regional Partner, Utah. “We place a great deal of emphasis in providing in-house resources that address every step of the commercial real estate transaction and move-in process, and these three individuals have demonstrated proficiency in overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities in their respective divisions. They are detail-oriented, self-motivated, knowledgeable and passionate in what they do.”

Lynch formerly worked in the company’s headquarters in Baltimore before relocating to Utah this summer. He will manage all tenant build-out activities including overseeing jurisdictional permit expediting and coordinating construction activities with the Leasing and Interior Design departments. This includes establishing and maintaining budgets for each construction scope. Lynch joined St. John Properties in 2012 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He was formerly Senior Project Manager.

Nelson has worked for St. John Properties since 2017 and was formerly Senior Property Manager and Building Engineer. He will oversee the property management function of the Utah real estate portfolio consisting of Class ‘A’ commercial office, flex/R&D and retail space with an emphasis on immediately responding to the needs of clients leasing space, implementing capital improvement programs, negotiating and supervising service contracts, preparing and adhering to budgets and managing client relations activities. Nelson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Management from Utah Valley University.

Young’s responsibilities entail formulating and executing custom-designed space plans that meet the needs of clients that have leased space with the company or are expanding their presence within the Utah portfolio. This includes generating input from the client, designing a feasible plan that solves the particular real estate challenge and interacting with third-party vendors when selecting build-out materials. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies with an emphasis in Interior Design from Brigham Young University and a Certificate in Interior Design from LDS Business College. Formerly Senior Interior Designer, Young has worked with the company since 2016.
