BOWIE, MD – St. John Properties, Inc., a Baltimore-based commercial real estate development and management company active in 13 states with a national portfolio valued at more than $5.5 billion, has selected Erica Albornoz as Director of Design in the company’s Southern Maryland Regional Office. Albornoz, brings more than 10 years of directly-related interior design and space planning experience to the company.

Albornoz’s primary responsibility involves executing efficient and curated interior design plans that match the customized real estate requirements of St. John Properties tenants. This process begins with meeting with clients to understand their unique space needs and transforming it into an effective design, while adhering to defined budget and schedule. The company’s in-house design team works with new tenants that have recently leased space, as well as existing companies with expansion and renovation needs.

St. John Properties’ Southern Maryland Regional Office is currently developing commercial real estate projects comprising nearly 2.5 million square feet of office, flex/R&D, retail, and warehouse space in Charles, Prince George’s, St. Mary’s, and Wicomico counties, as well as pursuing new opportunities throughout the region.

Albornoz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Mercyhurst University and is a Certified Interior Designer.
