BALTIMORE, MD (July 22, 2025) – St. John Properties, Inc., a Baltimore-based full-service commercial real estate development and management company, has announced the promotion of Brittany Long to Director of Interior Design,and Matt Halula to Director of Safety.

Long has worked for St. John Properties since 2005 and was formerly Senior Interior Designer. She holds an Associate degree in Interior Design from Anne Arundel Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is an NCIDQ-certified designer. In her expanded role she will continue planning, designing, and executing tailored interior space solutions that meet the unique real estate needs of new and existing clients nationwide. Throughout her tenure, Long has spearheaded numerous high-profile design projects and earned praise for her creativity, problem-solving skills, and leadership. In this new capacity she will also collaborate closely with the leasing and interior construction teams to uphold the company’s exacting design standards across all projects.

Halula previously served as Safety Manager in the Operations department, where he developed and oversaw companywide protocols to heighten safety awareness and improve practices across the organization. He joined St. John Properties in 2021, bringing more than five years of prior HSE (health, safety and environmental) management experience. Halula holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Safety, Health and Environmental Applied Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has earned advanced safety credentials (Construction Health and Safety Technician, Certified Safety Professional, OSHA Authorized Trainer). Under his leadership, the company has instituted rigorous safety training, inspection and audit programs that proactively identify risks and prevent accidents in line with all regulatory standards. In his expanded role as Director of Safety, Mr. Halula will further strengthen St. John Properties’ reputation for protecting its workforce and setting industry-leading standards for employee wellbeing.
