PLEASANT GROVE, UT — St. John Properties, Inc. has announced five executive promotions timed with the 10-year anniversary of the commercial real estate company’s inception in Utah. Since beginning Utah operations in 2014, the group has developed five business communities, comprising more than 1.4 million square feet of office, flex/R&D, and retail space in Salt Lake, Weber and Utah counties. The company has invested more than $1.5 billion in Utah, and serves more than 140 tenants throughout its regional portfolio.
St. John Properties promoted Marty Beaumont to Assistant Vice President of Development; Mark Cathemer to Assistant Vice President of Construction; Scott Gifford to Assistant Vice President of Leasing; Dayne Nelson to Assistant Vice President of Property Management; and Jenessa Young to Assistant Vice President of Interior Design. Cathemer and Young have been with St. John Properties for the past eight years, and Nelson joined the company seven years ago, ranking as the company’s most tenured employees in Utah.

Throughout St. John Properties’ 10-years history in Utah, they have developed and manage more than 800,000 square feet of Class ‘A’ office, over 90,000 square feet of retail space, and 275,000 square feet of the company’s signature flex/research and development asset. - Spring Heights, a 17-acre mixed-use Saratoga Springs business community that will be comprised of more than 156,000 square feet of flex/R&D and retail space on completion.
- Spring Pointe Exchange, a 17-acre business community in Springville which can support nearly 225,000 square feet of flex/R&D space.
- Valley Grove, a 130-acre mixed-use business community in Pleasant Grove which will include more than 1.5 million square feet of Class ‘A’ office, flex/R&D, and retail space, and host more than 10,000 tenant employees upon completion. Valley Grove includes Grove Tower, a six-story, nearly 190,000 square foot Class ‘A’ office tower which is the largest single commercial office building in St. John Properties’ 24 million square national portfolio.
