St. John Properties Attracts Two Medical Uses to Magothy Beach Plaza in Pasadena, MD

BALTIMORE (February 23, 2015) – St. John Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of WiseCare Urgent Care Center (2700 square feet of space) and Pivot Physical Therapy (2940 square feet of space) at Magothy Beach Plaza, a 28,675 square foot neighborhood shopping center located in the Pasadena section of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. John Rosso of Murphy Commercial Real Estate represented WiseCare Urgent Care Center, and Scott Wimbrow of MacKenzie Commercial Real estate represented Pivot Physical Therapy. Bill Holzman of St. John Properties negotiated the leases on behalf of the landlord in both transactions.

Magothy Beach Plaza is positioned near the intersection of MD Route 100 and Magothy Beach Plaza, adjacent to Lakeshore Plaza, a 161,000 square foot retail shopping center also owned and managed by St. John Properties. Magothy Beach Plaza consists of three separate retail buildings featuring tenants such as Ledo Pizza, Sanders Jewelers, Olive & Sesame Restaurant, Susquehanna Bank, The BBQ Joint and ZIPS Dry Cleaners.

WiseCare Urgent Care Center offers convenient and immediate medical treatment and services to consumers on a walk-in or appointment basis. The healthcare concept offers an alternative to emergency room or physician visits and will be open seven days a week, including holidays. Pivot Physical Therapy offers sports medicine therapy and rehabilitation, athletic training, concussion management and functional movement screenings, as well as a range of physical therapy services including aquatic therapy and occupational therapy.
