St. John Properties Adds to Leasing Momentum at Greenleigh with Three New Office Tenants Totaling 23,000 Square Feet
Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics, One Main Financial, and Prometric take space at 6211 Greenleigh Avenue

BALTIMORE, MD – St. John Properties, Inc. has signed three new leases at Greenleigh, the development company’s 1,000-acre mixed-used community in Middle River, comprising nearly 23,000 square feet of office space. Each of the new companies – Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics, One Main Financial, and Prometric – leased space at 6211 Greenleigh Avenue. Bill Jautze, Assistant Vice President, Leasing for St. John Properties represented the landlord in each transaction.
“Greenleigh has become one of the premier mixed-use communities in the region. There is no other development of this scale in Baltimore County offering such a wide range of options for commercial tenants, all centered around walkable amenities and a thriving residential community,” stated Matt Lenihan, Executive Vice President, Leasing, St. John Properties. “We continue to see strong leasing demand as companies rethink their office needs and strive to create more attractive workplace environments for their employees.”
Prometic chose Greenleigh as the site for its new corporate headquarters and recently took occupancy of a 13,996 square foot space in the four-story, 99,540 square foot commercial office building. The credentialing and skills development company, which serves industries and professionals in more than 180 countries, was attracted to Greenleigh’s vibrant mixed-use environment. This aligns with the organization’s mission to create a more agile and community-connected workplace, according to Joseph Maher, AVP of Real Estate and Procurement at Prometric. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jamie Smith represented the tenant in this transaction.
The move provided the opportunity for Prometric to incorporate employee-centric amenities and workplace features into its new space including a large boardroom, a café-style gathering area equipped with digital displays, and access to a nearby conference area that can be utilized for in-person and virtual collaboration such as company-wide town halls and team engagements. “We gathered input from our employees that was directly used to design an innovative space that is tailored to respond to the way our teams operate today,” Maher said. “The build-out emphasized a flexible, collaborative environment that fosters productivity and working together towards a common goal.”
Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics inked a 4,791 square foot lease and took occupancy in the building late last year. The company offers customized end-to-end supply chain solutions including container shipping, air freight, express services, and contract logistics. Josh Feldman and Peter McGill of Cushman & Wakefield represented the global logistics provider.
One Main Financial, a provider of non-prime personal and automobile loans, also recently opened its doors at 6211 Greenleigh Avenue. Jack Taylor and Laurence Oster of CBRE represented the company in this 4,163 square foot lease.
St. John Properties, in partnership with Somerset Construction Company, initiated development of Greenleigh in 2007. The community includes multiple real estate classes, including single-family homes, townhomes and luxury apartments, along with more than two million square feet of commercial and retail space, dining and recreational options, a hotel and a self-storage facility. At final build-out, Greenleigh is expected to include 3,300 residential units, and more than 3.5 million square feet of commercial space.
Situated off MD Route 43 in eastern Baltimore County, Greenleigh is located three miles from Interstate 95, six miles from Interstate 695 (Baltimore Beltway), 14 miles from Towson, 22 miles from Hunt Valley and 25 miles from BWI Airport. Nearly 145,000 people reside within a five-mile radius of the mixed-use development and the average household income is approximately $115,000.
