Kumon Learning Center Leases Space at St. John Properties’ Reisterstown Crossing Business Community

BALTIMORE (March 18, 2015) – Kumon Learning Center has signed a lease for space at 114 Westminster Pike in St. John Properties’ Reisterstown Crossing, a 10-acre mixed-used business community in Reisterstown designed to contain nearly 100,000 square feet of office and retail space. Koman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and Charter Radiology have also leased space in the 14,280 square foot Class “A” office building that was completed last year. Kumon Learning Center operates more than 2,000 supplemental learning centers around the country with a focus on improving math and reading skills for students attending preschool to high school. The educational concept is designed to increase confidence, cultivate self-motivation, develop critical thinking and analytical skills and strengthen concentration. Students are given assignments to complete both at the Kumon Learning Center and at home.

Reisterstown Crossing is positioned near the northern entry point of Interstate 795, a highway that provides rapid connections to Carroll County (five minutes away) and downtown Westminster (approximately 15 minutes), as well as downtown Baltimore and the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695). The southern area of Pennsylvania can be accessed in 30 minutes.
