BALTIMORE (May 16, 2013) – St. John Properties, Inc., a Baltimore-based real estate development and management company, has promoted Bill Holzman to Vice President, Retail Leasing. Formerly Assistant Vice President, Retail Leasing, Mr. Holzman has worked for the company since 2007.

Mr. Holzman will continue his responsibilities of overseeing the marketing, leasing and lease renewal efforts for the St. John Properties portfolio of more than 1.2 million square feet of retail space in the Maryland and Northern Virginia areas. This includes identifying prospective tenants that achieve the most optimum tenant mix at various St. John Properties retail centers, as well as those that provide essential amenities to tenants within the company’s office building and business communities. Mr. Holzman also assists in retail site acquisition activities and site layout strategies. In addition, he is involved with marketing and leasing efforts for Harrisburg Mall, a one million square foot regional mall project located in central Pennsylvania.

Mr. Holzman has nearly 20 years of direct retail leasing and marketing experience. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. An active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, he resides in Owings Mills.
