Financial institution joins Keller Williams Realty, Flagship of Maryland in five-story, 126,500 square foot Class “A” office building developed by St. John Properties

BALTIMORE (August 20, 2018) – Tower Federal Credit Union, the largest federal credit union in Maryland with more than $3 billion in assets, has signed a lease with St. John Properties, Inc. for more than 3,500 square feet of space within 231 Najoles Road at the I-97 Business Park in Anne Arundel County. Tower intends to relocate its current branch at Old Mill Plaza in Millersville, along with approximately 15 employees, to this new location in October. The credit union, which is headquartered in Laurel and currently operates 16 branches throughout central Maryland, will join Keller Williams Realty, Flagship of Maryland, and First Home Mortgage within 231 Najoles Road. “As part of our continuing strategy of evaluating the strength of our real estate, we decided to move to 231 Najoles Road to take advantage of a highly-visible office building while also elevating our branch technology to better serve the needs of our members,” explained Al Smith, Senior Vice President, Member Services for Tower.

231 Najoles Road is a five-story, 126,500 square foot Class “A” office building situated within the I-97 Business Park, a 67-acre business community located on Benfield Boulevard in Anne Arundel County. Presently consisting of 11 office and flex/R&D buildings comprising approximately 500,000 square feet of space, it is within close proximity to Interstates 97, 695, and 95 as well as MD Routes 295 and 32. This central location provides rapid connections to Annapolis, Columbia and Baltimore as well as Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Free parking is available throughout the business park and the immediate area is serviced by numerous business amenities including fast-casual and sit-down restaurants, retail centers and hotels.

Founded in 1953, Tower has grown to more than 180,000 members by providing a full complement of financial services and products including personal, savings and checking accounts, and specialty products such as Individual Retirement Accounts. The financial institution currently operates branches throughout Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard and Prince George’s Counties. Profits are returned to its members by maintaining low rates and keeping fees to a minimum.
