St. John Properties and Sidney Emmer Builders Donate Nine Acres of Land in Owings Mills to Beth Tfiloh Congregation

BALTIMORE (June 5, 2008) – St. John Properties, Inc., together with Sidney Emmer
Builders, have announced the donation of nine acres of acreage near the intersection of Red Run Boulevard and
Dolfield Road in Owings Mills to the Beth Tfiloh Congregation. The land will be utilized to supplement the
existing 40-acre Beth Tfiloh Day Camp, which has been operational since 1943.

The nine acres was previously part of Dolfield Business Park, a 36-acre business community
that can support approximately 321,000 square feet of office space that is jointly being developed by St. John
Properties and Sidney Emmer Builders. Four buildings are currently complete at the business community – 1, 3,
5 and 7 Easter Court – offering nearly 115,000 square feet of space. The park is positioned between Exit 4
(Owings Mills Blvd.) and Exit 7 (Franklin Blvd.) off Interstate 795 in northwest Baltimore County.

Beth Tfiloh Day Camp includes ball fields, hiking trails, a ropes course, creative arts center, the
Sachs Nature Center for nature and science programs, and an amphitheater for special events. The aquatics area
encompasses three outdoor pools, dual water slides, boating lake, and bathhouse. Exact uses for the additional
nine acres are currently being identified.

“We are deeply appreciative to St. John Properties and Sidney Emmer Builders for this donation
which will make Beth Tfiloh Day Camp a more open and enjoyable place. The conservation of this land benefits
the entire community and we are grateful for this expression of giving,” stated Rabbi Mitchell Wohlberg of Beth
Tfiloh Congregation.

“This acreage provides Beth Tfiloh Day Camp with nearly 25% additional space to more
comfortably manage its programming and, in our view, was an excellent long-term usage of this land. They will
make great use of the acreage and preserve natural woodlands for many generations to enjoy,” stated Edward St.
John, President of St. John Properties.

“Many positive by-products resulted from the successful development of the Dolfield Business
Park,” stated Sidney Emmer, President of Sidney Emmer Builders. “We were able to create quality office and
retail space that contributed to the economic well-being of the local community. Further, the donation of this land
ties us forever to the activities of local youth and strengthens the very fabric of Owings Mills.”
