St. John Properties Announces Two New Leases and Two New Store Openings at Magothy Beach Plaza in Pasadena
BALTIMORE, MD (January 28, 2014) – St. John Properties, Inc. has announced signing two new retailers and the opening of two additional stores at Magothy Beach Plaza, a 28,675 square foot neighborhood shopping center contained in the Pasadena section of Anne Arundel County. The new leases are with Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, a self-serve frozen yogurt brand and CPR Cell Phone Repair, a retail chain that services cell phones, smart phones, computers and other electronic equipment. Recently opened stores include The BBQ Joint, a locally-owned restaurant featuring competition-style BBQ, and Glenn’s Gourmet Bakery, a locally-owned café offering freshly-baked desserts, sandwiches and specialty drinks.
Magothy Beach Plaza is positioned near the intersection of MD Route 100 and Magothy Beach Road, adjacent to Lakeshore Plaza, a 161,000 square foot retail shopping center owned and managed by St. John Properties. Magothy Beach Plaza consists of three separate retail buildings featuring tenants such as Ledo Pizza, Sanders Jewelers, Olive & Sesame Restaurant, Susquehanna Bank and ZIPS Dry Cleaners. Free-standing pad sites are leased by McDonald’s restaurant and The Goddard School.

Nearly 60,000 consumers reside within a five-mile radius of Magothy Beach Plaza, with an average household income of approximately $105,000.
