St. John Properties Selects Erica Murphy as Property Manager for Central Maryland and Virginia Portfolio

FREDERICK, MD (October 2, 2019) – St. John Properties, Inc., a Baltimore-based full-service commercial real estate development and investment company, has announced the hiring of Erica Murphy as Property Manager for the Central Maryland and Virginia Division of the company.  She was formerly Regional Property Manager for Edens.

In her new role, Ms. Murphy will oversee the day-to-day property management functions for the St. John Properties portfolio of Class “A” commercial office, Flex/R&D, high-bay warehouse, and retail space situated throughout the Central Maryland and Virginia region. This portfolio presently consists of 36 buildings totaling more than two million square feet of space, with 27 buildings comprising approximately 1.2 million square feet of space in the near-term development pipeline. An additional 216 acres of land are currently being entitled for future development. Her responsibilities include maintaining best-in-class interior and exterior working environments for St. John Properties clients, overseeing capital improvement strategies, working with third-party vendors, managing budgets and communicating regularly with clients to exceed their daily expectations.

Ms. Murphy brings more than 16 years of direct property management experience to St. John Properties. Throughout her career, she has also held management-level positions with Berkshire Communities, Camden Property Trust and Simon Property Group. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with Business and French concentrations from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
